Happy Feast of St. Joseph

I LOVE images of St. Joseph teaching Jesus how to work.  There is so much that can be said about this image.  Look at the joy on Josephs face while he's watching his son try to carve the wood.  Look at Jesus trying so hard to be careful and to please his father. Look how patient Joseph is being. The way he's sitting and watching and not actually touching Joseph shows how he's 'letting him fly' yet his body language is saying I care about you and I love being here in this moment.

We have so much to learn from St. Joseph.  We just finished praying our novena for our own father, grandfathers, uncles and godfathers.

St. Joseph may you always be close to those men in our lives and teach them how to model your virtues.  And may we all die in the arms of Jesus in Mary when our day comes!
