7 QTF's vol 19/ All Saints Day

This QTF post I've decided to join my love for All Saints Day and my blog calendar and 'kill 2 birds with 1 stone' so to speak. So enjoy, my 7 most favorite Saints…in no particular order.
St. Therese of Liseux. She's my #1. I truly call her a best friend. The book I Believe in Love was one instrument from her life that brought about deeper conversion in my own life during my college days. I feel like I 'owe' her something.  One way I feel like I 'give back' to her is by sharing my love for her with my children.  I hope they see my relationship with her as an example of how/why we want to have the Saints as our friends and our examples of how to live a holy life.
St. Francis of Assisi. Patron Saint of animals, but that's not why I love him. I just love his story. His love for the Eucharist inspires me. I also can't help but love him due to the fact that our alma mater is a Franciscan school run by priests who 'live and breath' the messages of St. Francis.
St. Padre Pio. What a holy man. He, as well as St. Francis and certain special others, was given the stigmata. He's our Saint of the year and we read his story together. I was amazed at his holiness and the gifts Our Lord bestowed on this humble often sickly man.
Our Lady! Yes, she is a Saint. Queen of All Saints in fact. She is my model for motherhood and marriage and I go to her daily in prayer for help in these 2 vocations of mine.
Blessed Pope John Paul II. I met him in person when I was in high school. I shook the hand of a real Saint!! What a gift! A true once in a lifetime experience. Soon 4/27/14 he will be made a Saint.
Blessed Imelda Lambertini. A special little girl for sure. If you don't know her story you must do a search online. Oh to love Our Lord with the kind of love she had. No, not a Saint, but for sure a role model.
St. Joseph. The special Saint I pray to for my husband. Not much is known about St. Joseph, so when I get to Heaven I have a lot of questions for him

Happy All Saints Day!!!

FYI, I had a very hard time choosing just 7 Saints, so that's why this post got published so late in the day. There are a lot of great Saints to love.
