Sunday Daybook entry 2

Outside my window...
It's very bright and sunny. A glorious Sunday morning it seems. However I happen to know it's chilly and windy too. Brrrr.

I am thankful for...
God's will!!Yesterday we found out that our oldest daughter got accepted into the school she really wanted to go to. We've been praying all along that God's will would be done! Thank you, Lord!

I am thinking about...
My dear husband, who is in FL this weekend at a Board meeting for our Alma Mater. We miss him!

In the schoolroom...
I'm trying to decide wether or not we will continue using St. Thomas Aquinas Academy for our #2,3 and 4 next year. I haven't used them as much as I thought I would this year. I want to make sure we're 'getting our money's worth'.

From the kitchen...
Feeling lazy in this department. I've started the March meal plan, but it's far from finished and March is rolling on.

I am creating...
Not much, right now. My creative impulses come and go pretty frequently though. So stay tuned.

I am working on...
Feeding my children positive words and comments.

I am reading...
The Ministry of Motherhood. I just started it. I'm enjoying it so far.

I am praying for...
Our Alma Mater as they are going through the process of nominating a new President.

I am hearing...
Crying from the 4 year old. #4 trying to make him happy. #3 is playing the piano. #6 is trying to explain to me why the 4 year old is crying. It seems his very unhappy that the balloon my son got yesterday for his bday isn't floating. Oh dear! The world is ending!!!!

Around the house...
It's Sunday and we're taking it slow.

One of my favorite things...
Watching my girls Irish Dance! Last night they were in a show at a local Irish pub. It's so fun to watch them having fun while dancing.

A few plans for the rest of the week...
We have a fairly light week of activities. Thursday my #3 gets braces on. I'm 'bracing' myself for the emotions that will come flowing forth from her. She's quite a drama queen sometimes.

A picture thought...

A little moment captured from our trip last week to the GW Lodge. All have genuine smiles except my #2. For some reason he cannot smile normal on command. Oh well!
