Sunday Daybook Entry 1

Outside my window... it's a beautiful sunny day. AND it's supposed to get up to the low 50's today. A little taste of spring.

I am thankful for... my husband who is giving me some time away from the house this morning. I'm at Starbucks blogging and people watching.

I am thinking about... what are the kids doing right now at home? Hoping the 2 year old hasn't peeped in her pants.

In the schoolroom... we are right on schedule with our schooling. We should finish early May. Just in time for my parents' visit and #4's First Holy Communion.

From the kitchen... I'm convince menu planning will forever be something that is hard for me to do in advance. It just gets pushed aside too easily. I want to succeed, but it's a challenge.

I am creating... Still working on my 2 1/2 year olds baby book through Heritage Makers. Digital scrap booking is easier in many ways than tradition scrap booking, but both take dedication and TIME.

I am working on... a plan for our first ever REAL garden. There is so much to learn, but it's really fun!

I am reading... tons of stuff. For Lent, I'm reading Consoling the Heart of Jesus. For personal growth I'm reading,
I am praying for... a friend of mine who is in labor as we speak. She was so patient and 5 days overdue I think.

I am hearing... lots of chatting and laughter in this Starbucks.

Around the house... I'm not there right now and I'm a little afraid of what I might find when I return.

One of my favorite things... surprising the kids!!! (see next line)

A few plans for the rest of the week... Monday thru Wednesday we'll be at the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg. Just us! Our family of 8! We sooo need this little getaway. It's been over a year since we've been anywhere just the 8 of us.

A picture thought...
