I'm typing a post titled 'just because' because I didn't know what else to call it. ; 0
In 5 little days my 19 1/2 year old sister in law is leaving the good 'ole USA for a semester abroad in Gaming, Austria. Our alma mater encourages students to take a semester of their time to be over their with other students their same age (usually) and 'grade' in school (usually) in order to really grow in their faith and in their knowledge and understanding of the world. Without spending that time away I believe ones 'view' is a little 'sheltered' or should I say...you're just missing out if you haven't spent any time on the other side of the world!
We are going to really miss our dear Aunt, Sister, friend!! But we are soooo happy that she decided to go! It's a choice! And deciding to go is something you (or anyone) will not regret.
You see, you can't help but come back a different person. 4ish months traveling, studying, making new friends, traveling, Ok, so you're the same person, but different in maturity level, life experiences, friendships, wisdom (Lord willing), perspective and so much more I can't even put words to right now.
THIS posts for you dear Allison. All who read this post please say a prayer for her safety and her 'growth' throughout the semester.
Say hello to your dorm away from your dorm...for a little while!
