Everyone agrees that friendships are an important part of life. We all have people in our life that at some point or another were/are our 'BFF'. But have you ever pondered how your friendships have changed throughout your life?

I've been thinking about this have my friendships changed as my life has changed? How are my friendships now different than my friendships in the past? Is there anything about my friendships now that I would like to be different?

Some days I find myself reminiscing about the past. Life for me was all about school, friends and sports...not in that order though. Even in college this was how we rolled, but now...things have changed...for you too? We have a family and our family is full of small children.  So much of our time and energy is spent on our young children right now.  We can't possibly have a friendship just like the 'good ole days', but what do you want your friendships to be NOW? What do you hope for?

I'd love to hear from you? Let's get a discussion going.

First of all, your blog looks awesome. Secondly, I'm glad you're my friend! I think it's important to have realistic expectations of our friends at this stage in life. We should never "put upon" them the ideas of what kind of friend they should be. We should be the kind of friend we want to have and pray that they meet us half-way. That's the kind of friend you are, T!
