Pinning It Down? Part 1

I'm all for trying something new, so I'm going to...

I'm going to start a weekly blog entry that will be consistent from week to week. Follow me? Each Tuesday I'll have a blog post titled Pinning It Down. Details below.

Sarah, at Amongst Lovely Things has started a new weekly link-up with her friend Pam. I'm one of those gals who is just slightly 'gone crazy' about pinterest. If you're not 'there', I think you should be. Each week bloggers will share a pin that not only they have on one of their boards, but a pin that they actually DID themselves.

Here is my first 'Pin' post...

My DH side of the family is getting harder and harder to shop for for Christmas. Oftentimes we do a 'group gift' for all the adults, but this year Pinterest saved me. I saw this cute idea and pinned it to my 'DIY crafts' board. It was fun and easy to make these!

Make your own coasters- 4x4 tiles ($.16)Home Depot); 4x4 scrapbook paper; adhere to tile with Mod Podge and let dry; Spray a coat of clear spray paint and let dry; attach felt pads to the bottom.
I have bad news though...I can't get this link to work for the blog where you can 'see' these coasters, but the good news is...you don't really need to go to the blog. All you need is right here! Happy Crafting!!!!

Love these! I'm definitely going to make for next Christmas! I love the idea of making sets with seasonal paper.

Those turned out super cute and affordable. Homemade gifts are the best.
